1- Enterprise skills
I have used many enterprise skills in and outside of school. For example, when applying for jobs I have had to use several skills to enhance my chances of getting the job. They are also applied at my current place of work where i have to perform both individually and as part of a team, which allows me to motivate both myself and others around me. Furthermore, when working by myself, it allows me to use my own initiative, while also building my confidence when being around the public.
These enterprise skills are again applied at sixth form, as the majority of my A-levels and BTECs are independent work, so I am therefore applying self motivation and working independently. This again means that I am having to self evaluate my work in order to see whether it is up to a good standard or not ready to be handed in on time for my deadline. Another skill used at sixth form is applying my communication skills, because if I am struggling with certain work, I need to be able to communicate with my teachers and let them help me. This also tests my written communication skills for when i have to contact my teachers after school or during the holidays.
