3-Understanding new digital media services
Digital media services are not very popular with the 21st century. This is because most of the kids in this generation have been brought up knowing how to use technology and digital skills. However, many parents are unaware on how to use these devices and social media.
Digital training skills
Digital Mums is a private education organisation founded by Nikki Cochrane and Kathryn Tyler in late 2013. It is based in the UK and educates mothers in practical digital skills. The organisation focuses on providing part-time, online courses that help equip graduates with job-ready skills so they can create flexible freelance careers. 10% of all their profits go into a Community Interest Companythat funds women from low-income backgrounds to be able to do their training.
In 2014 they received £50,000 of seed investment money from The Big Issue Invest to support their efforts. In March 2016 the company raised £285,000 in private equity and social investment funding to further expand the business.
Digital mums is unique because not only does it offer vocational and part time courses for mums. But it has also initiated several campaigns supporting flexible working and parenting, to support mothers in helping more companies to offer more flexible jobs for them.

Digital transfer service
Advanced media restoration was established in 2010 with an initial aim to restore and digitalis all sizes and formats of analogue tape. The business has now expanded to offer transfers of the most popular digital formats.
AMR is one of the few digital transfer services that digitses analogue tapes. This makes it unique, as it is a service that not many people provide, but if it wasn't a service, then some companies would be put out of business. For example, nobody makes records anymore- all songs are either streamed online or put on a CD. So if it wasn't for AMR, then record businesses would no longer be available.
